About the School
The Sanskriti School was founded in 1998 by the Civil Services Society, an organization formed by the wives of civil servants belonging to various branches of the government of India. The Chairperson of the school is the spouse of the Cabinet Secretary. The school was setup to provide education to the wards of the officers of the Government of India with transferable jobs. A large section of the seats are still reserved for the children of civil servants. Despite being a relative newcomer the school has acquired a formidable reputation and is much sought after.

Facilities
The school sprawls over nearly eight acres of land and aims to provide a feeling of space, air and light. The school has two labs each for Physics and Chemistry and one lab each for Biology and Biotechnology. In addition there are the junior and senior school EVS labs, a Mathematics lab and a Home Science Lab. IT is given a lot of emphasis and the school has six student computer labs and one computer lab exclusively for teachers. A Virtual School facility allows downloading of information such as time tables, assignments, mark sheets and the like.

A centrally air conditioned building houses the junior, middle and senior school libraries. The school has both an amphitheatre and an auditorium capable of seating six hundred people. The school has it's own cafeteria and kitchen. The school also has it's own Doctor.

On the sports front the school has a multi- purpose gymnasium, an international standard swimming pool, a wading pool and both indoor and outdoor facilities for a variety of sports such as basketball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, hockey, football, and Tae Kwon Do.

Age Criteria and Seats in 2023-2024
The admissions made in 2023-2024 were to the Nursery i.e. Pre- School Class. The minimum age for admission was three years as on 31/03/2023. The number of seats available was 150. These seats were allocated as follows-

Admission Criteria
The school has different admission criteria for wards of civil servants and general category applicants. The criteria and their weightages for general category candidates are as below

Neighborhood 30 points.

These points are based on distance of residence from the school calculated according to a Distance and Area table printed on the form.
Sibling 25 points.

Applicants are given 25 points if a real brother or sister is already studying in the school.
Alumni 25 points.

Wards of alumni are given 25 points.
Total 80 points.


Documents Required
The school requires that successful applicants produce the following documents.
  • Attested photocopy of the Date of Birth Certificate.
  • Attested photocopy of Proof of residence (MTNL Bill/ Passport/Aadhar Card/ Voter I- Card/ Electricity Bill/ Water Bill).
  • Documents for proof of sibling.

Cutoffs in 2023-2024
The school received 2393 applications and published the scores of all General Category applicants. The cutoff for admission was 30 points.

Class XII Results
The stream toppers in 2022-2023 were- Science- 97.8%; Commerce- 97.2%; Humanities- 98%. The school average was 86.43%.
