Ryan International School Vasant Kunj is part of the Ryan International Group of Institutions. The group commenced operations in 1976 when it opened its first school in Mumbai. Facilities
Ryan Vasant Kunj has well equipped science labs; 2 computer labs with multi-media machines and broad band Internet access; a well equipped library; a medical room; an air conditioned auditorium capable of seating 500 and facilities for the teaching of art, craft music and dance.

Sports facilities includes grounds for all field games; a skating rink; a swimming pool and facilities for athletics, yoga, aerobics and tae-kwon-do.

Age Criteria and Seats in 2023-2024
The school admitted students to the Pre- School (Nursery) class in 2023- 2024. The minimum age for eligibility was 3 years as on 31/03/2023. The total number of seats available was 200. The breakup of seats was- Christian Minority and General Category- 150; Management Quota- 40; Girl Child- 10.

Admission Criteria
The school uses a point-based system for admissions. The criteria and their weightages are as below

Neighborhood 40 points.

Neighborhood points are awarded based on the distance between the applicant's place of residence and the school.
Sibling 5 points.

Applicants are given 5 points if a real brother or sister is already studying in the school.
Alumni 5 points.

The candidate is given 5 points if either parent is an alumnus of the school.
Religious Minority (Recognized Christian) 50 points.

Christian applicants are given 50 points.
Total 100 points.


Documents Required
The school requires that applicants produce the following documents.
  • Birth Certificate of the child
  • Proof of residence - Voter I- Card/ Ration Card/ Passport/ Electricity Bill/ MTNL Landline Bill/ Adhar card
  • For sibling cases- fee slip of sibling studying in the school
  • For alumni- Class XII mark sheet/ school leaving certificate
  • Christian Minority- Baptism certificate and Parish Priest's letter

Cutoffs in 2023-2024
The cutoff for admission in 2023-2024 was at 40 points.
