About the School
The Nirmal Bhartia School was setup by the Nirmal Society for Education Promotion in 2005. The school is named after the young son of the founders who passed away at the age of five. The school defines its core values by the acronym VOICE that stands for Values of Ownership, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence.

Facilities
The school is located on a lush 2- acre campus in Dwarka. The campus is organized on the basis of what the school calls spaces- Neighborhood spaces consisting of classroom clusters organized into neighborhoods for the junior, middle and senior schools; Specialized spaces such as the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Zone, the Media Pod and the Arts Centre; Sporting spaces; Wonderful spaces and Wired spaces that provide connectivity.

Nirmal Bhartia School was designed as a sustainable green facility and has received the prestigious LEED Gold rating.

Age Criteria and Seats in 2023-2024
The school admitted students to the Pre- School (Nursery) class in 2023- 2024. The minimum age for eligibility was 3 years as on 31/03/2023. The total number of seats available was 96. The breakup of seats was as follows- EWS- 24, Management Quota- 19 and General Category- 53.

Admission Criteria
The school uses a point-based system for admissions. The criteria and their weightages are as below.

Neighborhood 70 points.

Candidates residing within 6 km of the school are given 70 points, those residing between 6 and 10 km from the school are given 60 points while those residing between 10 and 15 km from the school get 50 points.
Sibling/ Staff Ward 30 points.

Applicants are given 30 points if a real brother or sister is already studying in the school OR if they are wards of staff.
Total 100 points.


Documents Required
The school requires that applicants produce the following documents.
  • Birth Certificate of the child
  • Proof of residence - Voter I- Card/ Ration Card/ Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill/ Water Bill/ Passport/ Domicile Certificate/ Aadhar Card


Class XII Result
The stream toppers in 2020-2021 were: Humanities-97.5%; Science- 96.2%; Commerce- 94.7%. The school average was 89%.
